Air Europa Launches New Summer Routes to Bologna and Tangier
Air Europa announces new summer routes to Bologna and Tangier, alongside returning services to Athens, Marrakech, Tunis, and Alghero.
Air Europa is approaching the upcoming summer season with a reinforcement of its seasonal route offerings and the incorporation of new destinations into its network. This summer, the company will launch operations to Bologna and Tangier and will once again fly to Tunis, Marrakech, Athens, and Alghero, expanding its connectivity options during the months of highest demand.
From Madrid-Barajas Airport, the airline will operate two new routes on a seasonal basis. For the Italian city of Bologna, it will establish three weekly frequencies between July and August. Flights to Tangier will commence on June 16 with three weekly frequencies, progressively increasing to five in August, before concluding operations in mid-September.
Furthermore, Air Europa will reinstate four other habitual destinations in its summer schedule. Tunis will feature three weekly frequencies from the end of May to the end of September, which will increase to five during July and August. Similarly, Marrakech will rejoin the company's network from early April with two weekly frequencies, also increasing to five weekly flights in July and August, then concluding operations in mid-October with two frequencies.
Regarding Alghero, Sardinia, operations will resume on July 3 and continue until August 30, with three weekly frequencies. Finally, Athens will be incorporated into Air Europa's European network from mid-June to mid-September with a daily flight for virtually the entire operational period.
All these routes, translating to over 700 round-trip flights from various destinations and offering approximately 130,000 new seats, will be operated with Air Europa's Boeing 737 fleet. This model, especially its MAX version, provides greater capacity and cabin comfort on short and medium-haul flights, along with more efficient fuel consumption and a significant reduction in emissions.
