Air Europa: New Routes to Oviedo, Seville, and Italy Expansion

Air Europa announces new routes to Oviedo and Seville, and increases daily frequencies to Milan, Rome, and key destinations in Africa and internationally.

Air Europa continues with its expansion and operational growth plan, adding new routes and flights in both the domestic market and Europe. As of June 1, the airline will connect the Madrid-Barajas hub with Oviedo and Seville, while increasing its activity from the Spanish capital to Milan and Rome.

For both Oviedo and the city of Seville, the company will deploy two daily frequencies, which it will maintain throughout the year. Furthermore, it will increase daily connections to Milan and Rome from two to three, thereby reinforcing its commitment to the Italian market. Flights will be operated using the Boeing 737 fleet, guaranteeing maximum efficiency and comfort for passengers.

This increase in short- and medium-haul activity consolidates the airline's commitment to destinations on the European continent, as demonstrated by the Geneva route, which will also be inaugurated next June. Additionally, it aligns with the increase in operations in Africa; this coming summer, flights to Marrakech and Tunis will resume, Tangier will be flown for the first time, and from June 24, on a regular basis, the South African city of Johannesburg will join Air Europa's international network of destinations, with three weekly frequencies.
